another archive from my old website, from around 1999-2000!!
last night i went to the blink concert at roseland...it was a fucking crazy day
ok so i leave here at like 3 and make it to nicole's in about half an hour...its of course hot as shit and if i had balls i would have been sweating them off...and of course when i turn on the a/c my car slows down and the rpms go really high and being that i have no gas or oil, i decided not to put on the a/c...
so i get to nicoles at 330 and her boyfriend drives us to montclair to pickup her cousin lauren then we go to hoboken to meet elisa and this girl kim to take the path into the city...we got to hoboken at 5:00 as planned
so we are waiting and waiting and waiting...elisa keeps saying that theyll be there in 20 minutes....we get food and joe buys us some jd and we get some cokes and drink a little...but it was a little too strong for mee so i didnt drink too much of it...so fast forward to about 630...we call them again they are at least a half hour away still...and sum41 was going on at 730...so i am getting a little pissed...they got there at like 5 to 7...they were running down the street so we start running when they get near us and all run down to the tracks and jump on the train just before it leaves...
then we have to go about 20 blocks so we go to get a cab...joe gets one in like a second and him nicole and kim go...then mee, elisa, and lauren are trying to get one...we look like idiots and some hot dog man helped us get one...so mee and lauren go to get in and elisa tells the guys where we are going and he says no..he isnt going that way..what the fuck?! can they do that?! whatever..so we feel stupid and try to get a cab as we walk towards the place...some chick gets him to stop and we jump in cause we are late and we are assholes....
so we get there at like 745 and catch the end of sum41...they were awesome of course..if only i saw the whole thing it would have been kooler...but i pushed up to the front....its funny how i can be so passive at sometimes and so aggressive at others
alkaline trio comes on next and they were awesome...i didnt know any of the songs but i danced around like an idiot anyways...i got 3 people dropped on my head (one was like someones ass in the middle of my forehead) and i got kicked in the face and punched in the jaw...but it was all good
then blink came on...a half hour later....and everyone went NUTS...before they even came out there was a pit...people were pushing and shoving for no reason...it was stupid...these weird kids behind us (who were like 15) kept chanting the most retarted things and pushing us because they thought it was funny...nicole flipped on them...
so yeah blink came on and they were fucking awesome as expected...by the end of the first song i was HYSTERICAL cause some guy almost killed mee...he grabbed mee by the neck like a headlock and was dancing around...i was so fucking scared...then i was soooooo mad...i went like nuts....elisa of course made her way up front and nicole and lauren with joe cause he knocked someone out...so mee and kim just kicked some ass for a while...i got kicked in the head again and got a few more people dropped on my head i think i was up to about 5...i was still sooo pissed about that Stupid guyi was just like pushing and dancing around...it was SO relieving...i got out a lot of built up aggression...it felt so good...
i was like i have to crowd surf...ive never gone this crazy at any concert before...i never dance around like that..im usually so self conscious that i cant like let go that much...but i was so i was like fuck this...i pushed up real far and i asked some guy to put mee up...i think i told him that i wanted to get out...i kinda did cause i could barely keep my balance anymore...so he did and it was so kool until someguy shoved his hand SO far down my shirt...then another guy pulled my shirt down so my boobs were sticking out...then they dropped mee up further but not far enough to get out so i asked another guy to put mee up cause i really needed to get out...he did and i went out the front like right in the middle...it was awesome...
then i thought i was going to die so i got some water...$3 a cup of course hung out met up with kim and elisa and danced around in the back for the last few songs...they were amazing...it was probably about 11 when it was over...i wouldnt know though cause someone exchanged my watch for a massive bruise on my wrist...
we found nicole and lauren and joe and left to get some cheaper water and then went to the path station...well the first one was closed...then we went to laurens then nicoles then icame back here washed off all the other people's sweat from my body and passed out..
